or spicy as you please!
This recipe makes it so easy, you'll never want store-bought again! Fresh and crunchy, but best of all - you control how spicy the peppers are! Simply add more sugar to tame the flame of the jalapeno peppers - 1 Tbsp for spicy, 2 Tbsp for medium-hot, 3 Tbsp for mild.

Gather up 6-8 fresh jalapenos and 6-8 cloves of fresh garlic and prepare to make the best jalapenos you've ever tasted!

Slice 6-8 jalapeno peppers
Slice 6-8 fresh cloves of garlic

To make the brine, bring the following ingredients to a boil in a saucepan:

1 cup vinegar
1 cup water
1 Tbsp salt
1 Tbsp sugar (2 for medium-hot, 3 for tame)

Once the vinegar/water mixture comes to a boil, remove from heat and add the garlic and peppers. Let it sit for 5 minutes, then using a slotted spoon or tongs, move the peppers and garlic to a jar and pour the brine over the top. Place jar in the refrigerator.
