Peach Pie In A Go Cup, Anyone?


Smoothies are a wonderful way to grab a meal on the go...simply pour that smooth, nutritious goodness in a "go" cup and...well...go! You do need to keep an eye on those ingredients to be sure that you don't experience *calorie creep*. Calorie Creep is what happens when you inadvertently add things to your smoothies that are high in calories, like peanut butter, nuts, yogurt, etc. that can significantly add to the final calorie count. I try to keep the calories and sugar down on my smoothie recipes, but feel free to swap out some of my calorie creepers - like soy milk - for something smarter, like water. We all have our little guilty pleasures! ;-) This particular smoothie is a favorite of mine because it really DOES taste just like a peach pie! (Without all those troublesome calories!)

Peach Pie Smoothie

In your blender or Nutribullet, blend:
1 Banana
1 Apple
1 1/2 cups of Frozen Peaches
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1/4 tsp Nutmeg
1 Tbsp Agave Nectar
2 cups Soy Milk (Or other nut milk, or water)

Blend until smooth.
