EZ Salsa


Many of the sauces and condiments that I had gotten used to serving my family were milk or mayonnaise based and definitely "no-nos" on this vegan diet, but with substitutions like this fresh-tasting and simple-to-make salsa, we don't miss them at all!

Although I prefer using fresh peppers and tomatoes, sometimes you just need to raid the pantry and use what you have on-hand!

Quick & Easy Salsa

In your food processor, pulse together 1/3 - 1/2 cup jalapeno slices and one medium to large onion.
Add:
One 28 ounce can Diced Tomatoes (drained)
3 Tbsp Lime Juice
1/2 - 1 Tbsp Sea Salt
1/3 - 1/2 cup Fresh Cilantro, chopped

Pulse until desired consistency is reached. Store in refrigerator or freezer.
